The tradition of producing organically exists on the island for many years. The lamb from Pag has a unique taste due to the aromatic herbs that the autochthonous Pag sheep are being fed with. From the milk of those sheep is being produced high quality hard cheese Paški sir that is famous in the entire world for its unique rich flavor.
